Privacy Policy — Taqvim (تقویم)

1. Overview

Taqvim is a Persian (Solar Hijri / Jalali) calendar app that shows the Persian, Gregorian, and Hijri dates, prayer times, a date converter, and personal reminders. This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: Taqvim does not collect any personal data.

2. Information We Collect

None. Taqvim does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We have no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We have no servers that receive your data.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Any reminders you create — including their title, type (e.g. birthday), date, and your repeat and notification preferences — and your app settings are stored only on your device using local storage. This information never leaves your device, is not backed up to us, and is permanently removed when you delete the app.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminder notifications, the app schedules local notifications directly on your device. We do not use push servers or any third party to deliver them, and no information about your reminders is sent anywhere.

5. Location and Prayer Times

Prayer times and the clock are calculated on your device using fixed coordinates for Tehran, Iran. The app does not request, access, or use your device's location.

6. Permissions

The only permission the app may request is permission to send notifications, and only if you choose to enable reminders. You can change this at any time in your device settings.

7. Software Updates

The app may contact the developer's update service to check for and download app improvements. These standard network requests do not include any personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

Taqvim does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no data at all, it is safe for users of all ages.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data stays on your device, you are always in control. You can delete individual reminders inside the app, or remove all app data by deleting the app from your device.

10. Security

Your data remains on your device under the protection of your device's own operating system security. No data is transmitted to us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
